Release Features Overview

This release features elements that are designed to improve the employee experience, offer a flat and inviting user interface and close the gap between the feature difference of benefitsCONNECT enrollment and bCEnroll.

Login Functionality

Login functionality provides security questions upon initial login. The forgot username and password function also provides responses or setup to security questions so that users may reset their usernames and/or passwords without having to engage their administrator.

Enrollment Waiting Periods

Enrollment waiting periods are now dynamic so that all the waiting periods captured in bC4 are also illustrated in bCEnroll.

New Hire & Open Enrollment Transition

In an effort to educate the employee and ensure a seamless experience the employee self-service (ESS) has been updated to include a transitional page when an employee is eligible for two separate enrollment periods, for example: new hire and open enrollment.

Release Enhancements Overview

This release places an emphasis on enhancing the employee validation process, improving visual benefit design attributes and advancing the navigation capability.

Employee Enrollment Improvments

ESS verification wizard can be cancelled by employee however employee still must complete verification wizard if they have not gone through it completely, enrollment session cannot be cancelled out of by function/design except for closing browser.

ESS Enrollment, now provides an acknowledgement for reviewing the outline of benefits when employer requires the outline to be reviewed.

Plan comparison visualization update that improves the view of the cost comparisons between plans including Custom Health Benefit configurations.

The ESS session includes a welcome portal as the starting point and custom text content for companies to communicate to their employees at the start/kick off point of the enrollment process.

Benefit display for multiple options have been improved to allow for a more streamlined selection experience when multiple plan options are available. Medical rates are now updated so there is no discrepancy between bCEnroll and bC4.

The decision engine has been streamlined to remove the skip engine button and reverse the save and cancel buttons for consistency throughout the ESS enrollment process.

Benefit display throughout system has been updated to provide a more uniform look from font size to benefit frame size, including alignment, location, etc.

Benefit selection maintains the election on volume based benefits when traveling backward through the system during all enrollment sessions.

Employee Gateway Improvments

Enrollment navigation has been updated to provide employees the ESS Home Page portal rather than the Consolidated Enrollment Form upon logon after having already enrolled during a previous login session unless they have a different eligibility session to complete such as Open Enrollment or Life Event. After all sessions are completed, employee will be taken to Home Page.

Life Event elections can now be initiated with our without documentation

Employee Gateway maintains the election on volume based benefits when traveling backward through the system during all enrollment sessions.
